Part of the British Columbia Dubstep Trio (Downlink, Excision and Datsik), Downlink began producing Dubstep in , although he had deep roots already in Drum & Bass and Jungle.His first two releases charted at 1 on several popular online music stores and soon he found his way onto Rottun Recordings which seemed a suiting place for his music. After having initial success, he was soon signed into Rottun Records along with Excision and Datsik, where the trio formed an unholy alliance of grimy subsonic bass that would spawn multiple collaborations between the three.
Although some would say these sounds are a little too heavy for the dance floor, tonight it all works well with frantic lighting and a huge amount of smoke. Recently Downlink's skills have landed him a prominent role in the production of legendary nu-metal band Korn's tenth studio album.
